MBS Medical Billing System, software for claims submission to Alberta Health & Wellness. MBS supports claims entry, processing and submission for one to ninety nine physicians. First released in 1987, MBS has undergone many changes in its development platform, as well as its features and functions. |
MBS provides a very rapid method of claim entry, and claims can be created from the appointment manager. MBS performs extensive data validation to create a valid claim the first time and eliminates resubmissions. High speed communication software allows you to submit your claims any time day or night. An internet connection is not required to submit your claims. |

Allows user selectable time slots of 10 min, 15 min, 20 min or 30 min. Custom templates are also available View schedule for a single practitioner or entire clinic Allows days booked off to be switched to active and vice-versa Finds next available appointment for clinic, doctor or by time slot or appointment category Built in calendar/diary provides reminders of important events New patients are added and validated at time of appointment creation Warns of special conditions or missed appointments when making appointment Appointment templates for any given day can be modified Fee codes, diagnostic codes can be added to the form after completion of patient visit to create a claim |

MBS is available in a standard version that operates on one terminal for billing up to 8 practitioners. The network version runs on Windows networks and can support up to 100 practitioners.
